Why Does a Good God Send People to Hell?
Does God really send people to hell? How can a good God send people to a place of destruction, of doom. Is he really a good God then? Does he qualify to be called a good God if he doesn’t care that souls perish in hell yet he sends them there?

For emphasis, it’s important to note that there’s a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. We can see from the story of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16 vs 19–31. However , the choice is in your hand and it’s in my hand. You can choose and know your eternal destination while you are here on earth not after death like most of us believed growing up. But how do I make this choice?
The Bible tells us in John 3 vs 16 that “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life”. If it says whosoever believes in him should not perish then it means whosoever doesn’t believe in him would perish. So you either believe and not perish or you don’t believe and perish but the constant thing here is you are making a choice and when you make a choice, you bear the consequences that comes with your choice. Is it God inflicting on man the consequences of his choice? No. Does God have a role to play? Yes and guess what? He already played his role. What role did he play? He sent his Son to die for our sins so that we don’t have to die for our sins.
The wages of sin is death, anyone that sin must die. God then sent his Son, Jesus Christ to come and die for the sins of the world and all he wants in return is to BELIEVE IN HIM as the one who came, died, buried and rose on the third day and you are safe. John 3 vs 17 -18 goes on to say “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
God doesn’t send anybody to hell rather he wants everyone to be saved and severed from damnation. People make that choice when they don’t believe in what Jesus has done. It’s a free will that allows you to make a free choice. Choose however and whichever you desire between Heaven and Hell but I implore you; Choose Heaven by believing in what Jesus did for you. God is a good God, forever was, forever is, forever will be.
